About Us

Coach Jermaine Chambers moved to Perth from the United Kingdom in 2019. Originally, Jermaine was taught how to coach from the Great Britain Men’s National Team Coach who represented Team GB in the FIBA Men’s Euro Qualifiers 2019.


 Whilst learning various techniques from some of the very best coaches in Europe, he has seen his own playing career achieve regional and national silverware and compete in International Invite-Only Tournaments.


After accepting a basketball scholarship to attend the University of Central Lancashire, Jermaine graduated top of his Sports Coaching Class of 2017 being the only student to be awarded the Academic Excellence Prize in his graduating class.


Over the last few years in Australia, Jermaine has played in numerous basketball competitions across WA and coached across all age and ability groups from grassroots to senior level competition. Currently he works in Education Support with children who have disabilities and is the Founder/Head Coach of Hoop Nation.


With his extensive playing and coaching career spanning over 10 years he adopts a coaching style that really focuses on building rapport and developing good working relationships with his players enabling him to make each individual better.
